OPENINGS AND CONSTRUCTION WORK

Upcoming work:

🚧 Construction Work – Le P’tit Train du Nord Linear Park (Saint-Jérôme and Prévost)

Starting October 13 and for approximately six weeks, construction work will take place in two areas:

  • Prévost (KM 14 to KM 14.9) – Between de la Station and the municipal boundary of the City of Prévost, north of chemin du Massif.
  • Saint-Jérôme (KM 3.9 to KM 7.3) – Between boulevard des Hauteurs and rue Bélisle.

⚠️ Important: Only the sections affected by the work will be closed starting October 13. The rest of Le P’tit Train du Nord will remain accessible unless otherwise indicated.

Please note that no detour will be provided around the closed sections. Due to the nature of the work and the configuration of the terrain, the options considered could not ensure the safety of users.

The MRC de la Rivière-du-Nord would also like to reassure outdoor enthusiasts: the affected sections will be ready in time for cross-country skiing and other winter activities. Some finishing and paving work will, however, continue in the spring.
