#TrailCare24 Event

TrailCare24 Event at the Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts train station on August 8 between 1 and 4 pm. It’s an invitation to come and meet our patrollers, who will be criss-crossing this area to make it impeccable.

As part of a national effort to preserve and improve the world’s longest trail network, our entire team is ready to take part in this great event.

TrailCare24 Event Day is a national event supported by Trans Canada Trail, the organization that manages and maintains Canada’s 28,000 km trail network. The event calls on trail groups and volunteers across Canada to take part in the special event and make their mark on the Trans Canada Trail.

🚧 UPDATE (July 7, 2026) — Construction Work on Le P’tit Train du Nord Linear Park (PRÉVOST SECTOR)

The construction work has been extended by one week and is now expected to be completed on July 16.

Work currently underway between km 11.7 and km 14 (between Mozart Street and de la Station Street) will be approximately 90% complete by July 16.

✅ Good news for trail users!
Starting July 16, the section between km 11.7 and km 14 will reopen to traffic. Cyclists and pedestrians will once again be able to use this portion of the trail as usual.

📅 Work resumes: around August 3
🏁 Expected completion: around August 14

A new detour route will be in place around August 3, when construction resumes. A map and additional details will be shared before work restarts.

Pavement markings will be completed once all construction work has been finished.

🙏 Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Please note that some direct access points to the trail, including those serving businesses in the area, will be temporarily closed during the work.
