🚧 UPDATE (July 7, 2026) — Construction Work on Le P’tit Train du Nord Linear Park (PRÉVOST SECTOR)

The construction work has been extended by one week and is now expected to be completed on July 16.

Work currently underway between km 11.7 and km 14 (between Mozart Street and de la Station Street) will be approximately 90% complete by July 16.

✅ Good news for trail users!
Starting July 16, the section between km 11.7 and km 14 will reopen to traffic. Cyclists and pedestrians will once again be able to use this portion of the trail as usual.

📅 Work resumes: around August 3
🏁 Expected completion: around August 14

A new detour route will be in place around August 3, when construction resumes. A map and additional details will be shared before work restarts.

Pavement markings will be completed once all construction work has been finished.

🙏 Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

🚧 TEMPORARY CLOSURE – Prévost Sector (km 9 to km 10)

As part of the watermain connection work for the future sports complex being carried out by Construction Tisseur, a section of the Le P’tit Train du Nord Linear Park will be temporarily closed on weekdays during the following periods:

📅 July 13 to 17, 2026
📅 August 3 to 5, 2026

To ensure the safety of all users, Construction Tisseur’s crews will install all required signage, traffic control devices, and safety measures throughout the closure periods.

➡️ Detour Route

A signed detour will be available at all times to allow users to safely bypass the work zone.

The detour follows:

  • boulevard du Clos-Prévostois;
  • the cycling link through the Clos-des-Réas sector;
  • then reconnects with the trail at km 9, where users must walk their bicycles along a short stone dust section, as indicated by the on-site signage.

👉 Please consult the detour map below before planning your trip.

We thank cyclists and pedestrians for respecting the posted signage and exercising caution when approaching the construction zone.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
