Vélo à notre Santé –
A COMMON GOAL: Vélo à Notre Santé is more than just an event, it’s an opportunity for everyone to get involved and contribute to the health of the Laurentians while having fun.
ROUTES FOR EVERYBODY: Whatever your level of cycling ability, there are routes for everyone, with distances ranging from 11 km to 200 km.
A FAMILY DAY: With various kiosks and entertainment along the route of the P’tit Train du Nord, this is a family activity that will appeal to young and old alike.
DISCOVER THE LAURENTIDES: A great opportunity to discover superb sections of the P’tit Train du Nord.

SCHEDULE

Before the event :

1. Register yourself or your team via the website.

2. Pick up your VANS2024 bib at the Foundation offices (185, rue Durand, Saint-Jérôme) on Tuesday, September 3 and Thursday, September 5 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
* If you are unable to pick up your bib during these hours, please call 450 431-8484, ext. 1 to make an appointment.
* You can also pick up your race number on the day of the event if you can’t get there beforehand.

3. Call on your friends and family to raise as many donations as possible!

On the day of the event (September 8, 2024) :

1. Meet at the Vieille-Gare de Saint-Jérôme.
150 rue de la Gare, Saint-Jérôme, J7Z 2C2

2. You will be taken by bus to your departure point, depending on the distance of your choice.

3. Appeal to your friends and family to collect as many donations as possible!

☀️ Good news!

Some great sections of the P’tit Train du Nord are open for you to enjoy!

But be warned, some work and detours are still in progress 👷‍♂️

🚴‍♀️🌲 SECTIONS OPENED :

✅ KM 34 south to KM 14 (Bois-des-Filion to Prévost)

✅ KM 36 to KM 201 (Val-Morin to Mont-Laurier)

🚧 SECTIONS CLOSED:

❌ KM 14 to KM 36 (Prévost to Val-Morin): Sections under construction – granular surfacing to come, unstable surface and presence of heavy machinery. For your own safety, we ask you to stay off the road. The presence of machinery and the nature of the work pose real risks.

🔄 DETOUR IN PLACE (PLEASE. please respect closures and workers):

‼️KM 101.4 to KM 106 (Labelle sector): complete closure and diversions between chemin du Lac Baptiste and chemin du Lac Joly via montée du Moulin (road shared with motorists)

‼️KM 131.3 to 132 (Rivière Rouge sector): Complete closure and diversions via rue Landry, rue L’annonciation to the Napa business.

It’s a practical, fun and accessible way to look after your health, protect the environment and strengthen cycling culture in Quebec.
