Le Grand Portage

Le Grand Portage has begun!

Forty teams will take turns portaging a canoe between Toronto and Montreal, each completing a 13 km section of the 700 km route. The canoe will be on the P’tit Train du Nord on October 14th and 15th. Small relay teams will travel from Mont-Tremblant south to their finish point in Montreal. Cheer them on when you meet them, from Mont-Tremblant to Laval. Better yet, you can participate with them by registering in virtual mode. They invite you to run, walk or cycle on Sunday, October 16, when they arrive in Montreal, by registering here.

By making a donation to the Great MS Walk, you are helping to fund the joint research projects of Dr. Jack Antel (Le Neuro-McGill) and Dr. Alexandre Prat (UdeM-CHUM), which focus on the study of the immunological and neurological mechanisms that contribute to the development and progression of multiple sclerosis and, ultimately, to find better treatments for the disease. All donations (100%) will go to research and you will receive a tax receipt from the Université de Montréal.

The event is finished.
