IRONMAN 70.3 Mont-Tremblant

Km 86 to Km 91- Race zone – area closed on June 23

ATTENTION: THE TRAILWAY WILL BE CLOSED ON JUNE 23 AND A SHUTTLE WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM KM 82 TO KM 91. There will be a P’tit Train du Nord shuttle to divert users from Parc des Voyageurs* (km 80) to * La Conception * La Conception parking lot (chemin de la Station) and * Tremblant parking lot (corner of Mtée Kavanagh and rue Coupal). Users will be informed of the trail closure as they pass.

On Saturday, June 22, over 1,800 athletes will take part in the Olympic-distance Triathlon 5150 Mont-Tremblant (1.5 km swim, 40 km bike, 10 km run). The weekend continues on Sunday, June 23, with the departure of 3,700 triathletes for the IRONMAN 70.3 Mont-Tremblant, also known as the half-IRONMAN. Athletes will take to the water from the Beach and Tennis Club to swim 1.9 km, then cycle 90 km and run 21.1 km before crossing the finish line in the pedestrian village.

Given the magnitude of this event, Tremblant, Tourisme Mont-Tremblant, the Ville de Mont-Tremblant, the Sûreté du Québec and the Ministère des Transports are working together to facilitate your access to the mountain and provide you with a safe environment. To help you plan your travel and make the most of the weekend, please take note of the main traffic restrictions and road closures to take into account!

CURRENT DETOURS:

  • KM 101.4 to KM 106 (Labelle area): Section closed with a detour from Chemin du Lac Baptiste to Chemin du Lac Joly via Montée du Moulin (shared roadway with motor vehicles).

  • KM 131.3 to KM 132 (Rivière-Rouge area): Section closed with a detour via Rue Landry and Rue L’Annonciation, up to the Napa store.
